Take Two have recently announced the long awaited sequel to their Shooter-RGP in the form of Borderland 2.
Gearbox Software will release a sequel to Borderlands sometime next year, according to a report from Eurogamer.
A source close to the project told the website the game is coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and that an official announcement is expected soon.
Gearbox officials however have declined to comment on the report.
Borderlands was a seriously great game and one I still personally pick up and play today. It certainly wasn't for the story as the tale was weak at best and felt like it was put in at the last minute to give the player some direction. The loot however and the 'just a few minutes more' gameplay has really opened this up to a broader audience.
