I can confirm that a Rollercoaster Tycoon game for the Nintendo 3DS is currently in development.
It is being made by n-Space, who is the studio behind the DS version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and published by Atari for a March 2012 release.
Rollercoaster Tycoon is described in the latest issue of Nintendo Power magazine as an all new game in the simulation series built from the ground-up specifically for the 3DS.
It features full 3D graphics, new design options and new pre-built rides. And there are, of course, touchscreen controls.
As a massive fan of simulation games like the Rollercoaster Tycoon series I am quite excited to see who this turns out.
