Mass Effect 3 - Toys/Figures to include DLC

Some quick news for you relating to Mass Effect 3 today as Bioware have confirmed this week that their action figure lines going on sale in the US later this year will included DLC codes for the game itself.

Spotted by NeoGAF and reported by Eurogamer a retail listing on BigBadToyStore shows eight separate figures available individually ($17.99) or in packs of four ($67.99). The blurb outlined below explains the downloadable content also being offered:

"Each figure includes an in-pack card giving you access to downloadable in-game bonus content. Each figure contains different in-game content, exclusive to North American released product. Collect all eight for the full experience!"

Bioware also have a listing for the items on their webstore – their personal listing information can also be found below:

"These products contain codes that can be redeemed for a downloadable content pack for Mass Effect 3 multi-player. They are slightly randomised during the registration and could include powerful new weapons and new characters.

"The pack could also include character boosters, weapon modifications, and weapon upgrades to make your multiplayer squad stronger. (Only supported on Xbox 360 and PC.)"

No comments yet on whether these bonuses will come across the Atlantic. I’m almost certain that if not then there codes will be available on the XBLA system.
