Kingdoms of Amalur Demo

On 11^th January 2011, EA announced another crossover promotion between Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Mass Effect 3. Playing the demo for Kingdoms of Amalur will unlock two Reckoning-inspired in-game items in Mass Effect 3, while playing the Mass Effect 3 demo will unlock armor and a weapon in Kingdoms of Amalur.

Playing Amalur will lead to the player getting both the Reckoner Knight Armor and a Chakram Launcher weapon in Mass Effect 3. These are likely to be useful weapons but do not expect these to complete the game for you. Bioware are very good at creating exciting equipment but also they ensure these do not break the original game features.

The Kingdoms of Amalur demo has been released today, unfortunately though we still have to wait for the Mass Effect 3 demo which is due later this month. Last week, additional items were also announced for Mass Effect 3 in the form of pre-order bonuses.
