Rumours - Coop for Mass Effect 3

The recent September issue of the Official Playstation Magazine in Italy has reported a few very interesting rumours. The latest issue has stated that Bioware’s Mass Effect 3 will include four-player-co-op upon it’s release next March.

According to earlier reports by the Eurogamer website the four-player co-op mode will be a standalone feature that will be competitive and will also be online. Various reliable sources have suggested that this is akin to the Gears of War Horde-Mode which faces players against waves of enemies.

This has not yet been confirmed by Bioware but they have confirmed that they are looking into the multiplayer elements with all of their franchises.

Mass Effect 3 will be the end of the Commander Shepherd series and promises an action packed adventure when it is released for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in March 2012.

  1. This could be sweet. Its like the level on Mass 2 where you have to save Garrus for the Mercenary groups as they come across the bridge. Loved that level and the enemy just kept coming!

  2. Agreed, if they put it in it will show us what Bioware are possibly planning with the next Mass Effect post-Shepherd. THe Garrus recuitment mission was definately one for the difficult book; especially on Insanity!
